Northern Cape

Northern Cape is South Africa's largest province, with the lowest population. A big variety of free range wildlife roam this province. With Botswana, it shares the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Wild daisies and other beautiful flowers carpet the Namaqualand area. Wild olive trees and big Acacid (Camel Thron) trees do well in this area.
Kimberley is the capital and largest city of the Northern Cape province of South Africa. It is located approximately 110 km east of the confluence of the Vaal and Orange Rivers. The city has considerable historical significance due to its diamond mining past and the siege during the Second Anglo-Boer war. British businessmen Cecil Rhodes and Barney Barnato made their fortunes in Kimberley, and Rhodes established the De Beers diamond company in the early days of the mining town.
On 2 September 1882, Kimberley was the first city in the Southern Hemisphere and the second in the world after Philadelphia, Pennsylvania in the United States to integrate electric street lights into its infrastructure. The first stock exchange in Africa was built in Kimberley, as early as 1881.

North West

The North West Province in located inland and borders Botswana. It is defined by mountains in the north east. It is home of Pilanskerg National Park with an extinct volcano. It is home of more than 7,000 animals.

Freestate

The Freestate province is South Africa's judicial capital. It's historical origins lie in the Boer republic called the Orange Free State Province. The Freestate borders Lesotho connecting with big mountains on the border. The capital of Freestate is  Bloemfontein. 

Situated at an elevation of 1,395 m (4,577 ft) above sea level, the city is home to approximately 520,000 residents and forms part of the Mangaung Metropolitan Municipality which has a population of 747,431. It was one of the host cities for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.The city of Bloemfontein hosts the Supreme Court of Appeal of South Africa, the Franklin Game Reserve,Naval Hill, the Maselspoort Resort and the Sand du Plessis Theatre. The city hosts numerous museums, including the National Women's Monument, the Anglo-Boer War Museum, the National Museum, and the Oliewenhuis Art Museum. Bloemfontein also hosts the first digital planetarium in the southern hemisphere, the Naval Hill Planetarium and Boyden Observatory, an astronomical research observatory.Bloemfontein is popularly and poetically known as "the city of roses", for its abundance of these flowers and the annual rose festival held there. The city's Sesotho name is Mangaung, meaning "place of cheetahs".

Eastern Cape

The Eastern Cape is the second largest province in South Africa after the Northern Cape. It is progressively wetter from west to east. The western area is made up mostly of karoo. The southern area is in the Tsisikauma region, which is temperate rainforest. The eastern border is made up of coast that lines southward.

Limpopo

The Limpopo province is a South African province bordering Botswana, Zimbabwe, and Mozambique. It is known for bushveld and wildlife reserves, including Kuger National Park. Polokwane is the capital of Limpopo.
